Hi everyone: I'm a very busy dad who does not have the time to join weight watchers, go to the meetings etc.. I do want to use their point system as I've heard that it's effective when followed properly. Does anyone know where I can find this information online so I don't have to spend all that money to join?
Thanks for your help.
P.S. I need to loose 50lbs.

Why is Obama trying to get people to stop smoking when he can't stop? What? It's okay for the President to smoke, but not anyone else? That ain't right. I don't smoke, but my dad does and he shouldn't have to pay for a pack of cigarettes. It just ain't right.

My dad has smoked since he was 15 and hes now in his forties. Ever since I was born, Im 18, he has smoked around me. I dont think he realises what kind of damage smoking does, nevermind second hand smoking. I really want him to quit smoking but he always says 'In order to quit you actually have to want to, and right now I dont want to.' Which I think is very selfish because hes shortening his and all the people he smokes arounds life. Any ways I can get him to quit all around? Or atleast stop smoking around me and my family?

I want my dad to stop and he does to, but he has tried before, using a patch, but it made him sick and he stopped after like a day or two... Should he have sticked with it or is there a better way? He has been smoking for about 25-30 years.

My dad has been smoking for as long as I can remember. He started when he was a teenager, he smokes outside and no infront of my sister and I because he doesn't want us to start. I really want him to stop because I don't want him to die. I know it's his choice but anyways I can help him stop? Thanks.

My dad has been smoking for more than 30 yrs. Now a mass was found in his lungs. If this is cancer, should he stop smoking abruptly? I heard that if you stop smoking abruptly, then there is a bigger chance of developing cancer. Can anybody confirm this. Is quitting gradually more advisable? Thanks

My friend told me her dad just got a laser treatment to stop smoking, and he hasn't picked up a cigarette since the day he got it. My mom is very adamant about quitting and I think this is a really good option if it works. Shes tried all the gums, pills and patches and nothing has worked. Can anyone help me out and tell me more about it, and how effictive it is?

He's reaching the half century mark in about 2 years and I'm really starting to get worried for him. I understand how hard it is for him to quit smoking but I want to say something to him that will make him stop. I am his 16 year old son, and he should care about my life and his life. My friend stopped his father from smoking by saying to his father that if he doesn't stop smoking, that he'll start. I can't say that to my dad because he knows my friend said that to his dad. Any suggestions?

I have read the statistics of smoking cigarettes, but realize that people who smoke have to quit on their own. My friend is about to become a dad and am worried about his health and how it will effect the baby, even though he smokes outside, away from everybody around him. He's tried to quit but can't. I know it is difficult but how can I get him to realize that he should stop smoking?
