How to calculate weight watchers points?

I want to try weight watchers out, i am a mother of an 8 month old, I am 23, I weigh anywhere between 155-160 and I am 5'1" I don't look huge, but I feel huge. I want to do weight watchers but don't have the money to spend to do the weekly meetings? Can someone help me calculate how many points I would get, and how to calculate everything I am eating into points to stay on track?

is there a booklet out somewhere online that I can print out?

Thanks in advance.

My employer recently began sponsoring the weightwatchers at work by giving all members 50 dollars. I feel this is unfair to people who spend money keeping in shape and eating healthy so that they do not end up needing weight watchers. Personally I spend 500 dollars on gym membership annually. The lean protein and whole grains in every meal plus 5 daily servings of fruits and vegetables do not exactly pay for themselves!! What can I ask the company to do for those of us who already spend the resources to stay healthy?
Thank you for not posting an insulting reply.

What is your opinion of weight watchers?

I joined weight watchers today. Did I waste my money? I just read an article stating that people who are on weightwatchers, and attend meetings regularly, are on average only 11lbs thinner after 2 years, which sounds rediculous.

Hi everyone: I'm a very busy dad who does not have the time to join weight watchers, go to the meetings etc.. I do want to use their point system as I've heard that it's effective when followed properly. Does anyone know where I can find this information online so I don't have to spend all that money to join?

Thanks for your help.

P.S. I need to loose 50lbs.

I really don't have the money but I'm thinking about going to weight watchers as I want a "diet" that is real food not shakes and supplements. Is is difficult to follow and shop for and cook for? Do you get enough food that you're not hungry or at least not next to starvation hungry? What's the best way to go, core or points? Did it work for you or at least help you?
